17 marzo 2025

Prewin is a foundation established in the Netherlands that brings together European companies, utilities, and research institutes operating in the waste-to-energy (WTE) sector. Its purpose is to promote collaboration, the exchange of information, and technical and operational benchmarking to continuously improve the performance and reliability of WTE plants.

On Thursday, March 13, and Friday, March 14, representatives from some of the leading European operators in this network gathered at the TRM plant in Turin to discuss best practices in maintenance. The occasion was the annual meeting of the Prewin Maintenance Core Group.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to exchange best practices and share projects, challenges, and solutions, with a view to collaboration and optimisation. Held in the Torresin Hall, the event featured a tightly scheduled program of presentations, during which thirty specialists from across Europe contributed their technical insights.

An in-depth tour of the Turin waste-to-energy facility was offered on the first day of work to showcase the distinctive features of the plant.
