In the year of celebrations for the tenth anniversary of the Turin waste-to-energy plant and in the week of World Environment Day, TRM Days returned to the Iren plant last weekend: two days full of events dedicated to citizens.

Kicking off the dance was the atmospheric Open Night, where – as the sun went down – participants took a guided tour of the waste-to-energy plant and discovered the features of a plant that produces energy from waste.

On Sunday, it was the turn of the play “Happy Days” by and with Stefano Santomauro, enriched by the pedal-powered theatre® format: the electricity needed for the play was in fact generated by the spectators themselves through the use of special bicycles, thus creating a sustainable and engaging experience for the audience.
